Business or Pleasure?

Just once, I would love to see a defendant take traffic court seriously enough to show up in a business suit. Cops wear suits, lawyers wear suits, hell, even the judge wears a suit under his black robe.

Think about it. If you're going to traffic court, you are probably trying to beat a ticket right? Wouldn't it make sense to wear a suit so the judge at least thinks you are serious?

I even saw a defendant show up for traffic court in a t-shirt and shorts one time. Go figure.
