Merry Christmas...

Merry Christmas to all. I don't understand why it's so taboo to say this nowadays. I mean, it's not like I'm walking up to you and saying "You have to believe in the same God as everyone else". I'm simply wishing you a happy holiday without resorting to some lame, non-denominational saying like "Seasons Greetings" or "Happy Holidays". We can't say Merry Christmas because not everyone celebrates Christmas I suppose. But I still don't get it.

If a Jewish person said Happy Hanukkah to me, I would not be the least bit offended. That is the holiday they celebrate, and they are wishing me good will for the time of year. If an "African American" (another politically correct term) person said Happy Kwanzaa to me, I would not be offended. That is the holiday that person celebrates. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, freaking Boxing Day, I don't care. Whatever your holy day, or days, I wish you well.

So, that said, Merry Christmas everybody, whatever you celebrate. I hope everyone got what they wanted. Have fun playing with your new toys.
