Yo! Bonehead...

I shall never understand why after people pull some bonehead maneuver (such as a block long burnout, running a stop sign, or almost taking my front end off while making an unsafe lane change), when they see me they slow down to about 10 MPH (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating just a little) and drive like a little old lady.

Are they thinking "If I slow WAAAAAAAYYYYY down, maybe he won't notice that bonehead maneuver I just pulled"?

Sorry, but I did notice...

Press hard, you're making four copies...

I think the answer to that question is fairly obvious: if they go really slow, you won't see them. "Be the road....be the road.":)

Dear Officer Smith,
I wasn't going to comment, because I have been this bonehead before.

I couldn't stop laughing when I read this post. Can't believe no one has commented.

Umm, it's a submissive gesture. We know we screwed up. Some of us even thunk our foreheads and hope you are watching and understand.

I never hit a police car bumper though. And I swear I've reformed.

Sincerely,
Ann T.

Agree with Ann on this one, its a sign of submission.

Personally I have been more likely to give a wave and it has worked out well for me at least twice.

Wanna come visit my neighborhood for a week? You can catch a LOT of boneheads doing bonehead things like this.
One of these days, the neighbors across the street are gonna find all their tires punctured. Gee, I wonder who would do such a thing to such "nice" folks.....*snort*
