T-shirt Seen on a Fugly Fat Chick...

"I'm too pretty to get f*cked from behind"

No, you're not.

And when did a shirt like that become fit for public consumption?

Ahem.

As a fat chick, could I ask you leave the fat crack outta it? I mean, was her weight really the issue here, or the fact that that t-shirt just isn't appropriate for being out in the public, anywhere, ever?

Maybe she really was ugly, too. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't trying to imply that fat==ugly.

I'm just asking for you to not spoil what is otherwise an awesome blog with such nasty speech.

My profuse apologies, Moose. Perhaps I should have simply said she was a fugly chick. Of course some might even find that to be offensive.

Moose, your point is well taken, HOWEVER .....

When a woman markets herself as a sexual commodity, then the opinions of the consumers/non-consumers in the marketplace regarding her physical features are, in my view, completely fair game.

[Lest you call me a sexist, the same can be said regarding a man who markets himself as a sexual commodity.].

The foregoing is not intended as a justification or condonation of unwanted contact, or of unsolicited harassment.

But when one actively markets oneself to the public as a physically sexual commodity, one is staking one's status, reputation and honor upon one's bodily features and attributes, and the consuming public's tastes regarding the same.

Note that nothing on the t-shirt in question makes any explicit or implicit reference to what should be a woman's most important sex organ -- her brain!

I happen to know guys who like fat chicks - so why be offended? If the shoe fits . . . (And fat does not equal ugly. In fact, many times, at least slightly plump means pretty. I'm just sayin. . .
