The Laundry Incident...

I committed a Federal offense today. I laundered money. And dried it. Actually... I laundered my entire wallet.

Imagine my surprise when I went to pull my laundry out of the dryer and saw my Chevron card sitting on the lint screen. Fortunately I managed to fish everything out. It's really amazing how a dryer can remove EVERYTHING from a wallet with relative ease.

The only thing I couldn't find was my ATM / check card. Upon my return to the dryer, I located the card... firmly stuck to the inside top of the drum. After removing the card, I was happy to see it was still mostly intact. I even tried it at Walgreen's a little later, and it still worked.

Just a little insight into a day in the life of Officer "Smith".

That's what you get for not letting Mrs. Smith do your laundry!

Hey, at least the card still works. I did that one time and washed 200 bucks to shreds. I was not a happy camper....
