We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium a while back, and something really impressed me.
In the lobby area, where you go to purchase tickets, there was a plaque. On this plaque, was a list of names of those who have contributed large sums of money to the aquarium. I'm sure some of these folks wanted to have their names added to this list for their contributions. One name in particular stood out.
Under the $1,000,000 heading, the first name listed was Anonymous. To me, that speaks volumes. That person contributed one million dollars to the aquarium, and the only thing they asked in return was to know that their money went to a good cause. That person specifically did not want their name to be known.
That's generosity at its best.

Character is doing the right thing even when no one's watching or you otherwise won't get credit.
And tag, you're it.
Yeah, that "Anonymous" person was a class act...whoever they were.
Wow. Now that is a truly noble and generous person.
