Someone asked me once what was the weirdest thing about me. The best answer I could come up with is that I name my guns and my cars. Call me crazy.
My duty pistol is named Eleanor.
My off-duty pistol is Hank.
My truck is Roger, and the mini van is Mona.
My patrol rifle is Janice, although I'm trying to figure a different name for her because the wife doesn't like Janice.
I have had cars named Bobbie, Beauregard and Roxy.
Roxy was a bitch with attitude who loved to run around with her top down.
I haven't yet arrived at a suitable name for my motorcycle, but it will come.
I had a shotgun in the academy named Irene.
Am I just strange?

I call my pistol "Flesh Ripper" and my cruiser "Head Squisher." No, you're not weird. :)
I think most people do name their weapons and cars. In fact people, thought I was wierd because my car didn't have a name.
My Springfield model 1911 Mil. Spec. is named Betsy. My Springfield V16 long slide is named Big Nose Kate.
Mona. Hey, that's what I named my ...
Sorry, too much information.
You name the things that are important to you.. Or else you'd still be calling the kids "Hey! You and you.. Come here!"
:)
Why doesn't your wife like the name Janice? Reminds me of Chandler's gf on Friends with the nasaly whiny tone and the hideous laugh---never mind;)
na, you arn't weired, i named my Sewing Machine
Just a bit strange. ;) lol. Of course, I refer to all my guns as my family members and call them cute. So...maybe you aren't so strange afterall! lol.
Did you really want us to answer that last question??? :-)
At least you're more creative with it than we are.
Hubby's maroon F150 is "Ruby".
My old champagne colored Buick was "Champ".
And my white Taurus is "Cracker".
(Hey, I'm white. I'm allowed to say "cracker".)
Goddess: I don't like Janice because of a dream I had that I woke up from crying. Not a nasally voice. :)
"Am I strange?"
Just a little bit, but I like strange...hehe.
Our family names cars, guns, stray cats, cows, clouds....
