Okay, so now it has come to my attention that the aforementioned spike in readership was because of an MSN article for which I provided a bit of commentary.

I found you through the MSN article. I'm becoming a big fan of your snark the more I read. I've been a dispatcher for four years, and even though you aren't an officer I dispatch for, I see so much of "my guys" in what you write! I love it!

I too, ran across your blog from the MSN article and have grown to love it in a matter of days. While I'm not a cop, I come from the police background. Ever read Second City Cop? It's a good blog about all the headaches with the Chicago Police Department.
