So, my agency is contemplating a Master Police Officer program.
Do any of my cop readers work for a department with a similar program?
If so, might you be able to forward me a copy of the applicable policy?
Thanks in advance.

For the ignorant amongst us, what is a master officer program?
I tried googling, but all I got was applications for the position, which I didn't understand, and information on Master Sergeants, which seemed unrelated.
Hi there, I love love love your blog. But I hate hate hate your font! I just can't be the only person who has said this, can I? It makes my head dizzy trying to read it, so I end up having to copy it and paste it into a text editor first...
Please consider changing it? Pretty please?
Sarah
P.S. I care not if you post this to the page, I just wanted to plead with you about it. :)
@ ScotchDave
Basically, as I understand it, it is for officers who have accomplished certain things during their career, achieved certain milestones, etc. that makes them better rounded than younger officers.
It varies from department to department, which is why I was trying to find policies for comparison. No hits yet.
@ Puma
You're the first person who has said anything about the font. I wasn't sure it would work when I changed to it. I'll investigate other options.
Dang!I was actually going to tell you I loved your font...but I didn't want your wife to think I was coming on to you...LOL!
Thanks for the explanation officer Smith, sounds like a good idea.
