Yes...please post. I work in a related field and sometimes I can find these stories helping me not be so fucking annoyed by some of the idiots I deal with in my profession.
Actually, yeah. I suspect you have a few people checking in from time to time to read your balanced, honest perspectives on your chosen career and life in general. It’s tough to change hearts and minds because a lot of readers on your blog have been reared to doubt the good will of police officers. I think you have done an admirable job of explaining things a little differently.
I hope that you’re still out there, whether on patrol or living the good life, retired now.
You write well, Officer Smith. Even though I may be late in the game to your blog, I feel empowered to speak for all of us late bloomers to the wisdom of your blog. You are missed. I don’t always agree, but I respect your integrity and work ethic.
